Singer-songwriter and judge for X Factor New Zealand Guy Sebastian has sold his house in Clovelly, Sydney.
Mr Sebastian and his wife Jules acquired $2.2 million from the sale ahead of its planned auction on August 10th.
A total of eight contracts were put forward for the property and several offers were submitted during the two weeks it was on the market.
This shows the ongoing popularity of Sydney's prestige property market. Over the year, Australian Property Monitors statistics have shown that Sydney's prestigious suburbs achieved high clearance rates and property prices have been pushed up.
The Knoxx Street property is three floors high, has four bedrooms and living and dining areas, which are located on the top floor.
Mr Sebastian is aiming to buy a property with space to set up a recording studio and space for a garden that his son, Hudson, can play in.
He bought the property in 2010 for $2.15 million.
