Australian migration could be easy, says BuyAssociation

Getting a permanent visa and a property need not be a challenge for migrants.

Australian migration could be an easy process if people are organised, according to the editor of British overseas property website BuyAssociation.

Paul Collins explained that the approval of a property sale in Australia and acquiring a visa can be easy if migrants ensure that each step is done in good time.

Those looking to move to Australia need to go through the Foreign Investment Review Board when they purchase a property, but this step is fairly easy.

What would be more challenging, he noted, is getting a permanent visa. Certainly, this is an issue that may have become more challenging since the government cracked down on the number of 457 visa approvals.

Yet Mr Collins felt it is possible for this process to be made easier. He said: "It can be worthwhile talking to immigration and visa specialist companies for the best advice, and you have to allow time for bureaucracy to run its course."
