Tourism Australia has launched a new campaign with French tour operator Australie a la Carte that is aimed at couples who are booking their honeymoons.
The campaign is done in conjunction with Tourism Northern Territory, South Australian Tourism Commission, Tourism Victoria and Tourism & Events Queensland.
Combining the efforts of these different tourism operators, the project highlights all the aspects of Australia that make it appealing as a romantic honeymoon destination for people who are living in France.
A specific website has been created to boost the profile of the campaign and further market it to French honeymooners.
The website, AustraliaalaCarte.com advertises Australia as a dream destination for people who are looking for fascinating adventures and moments of romance that they'll never forget.
It appeals to the romance of the occasion of honeymoons and states that there is a holiday waiting for French people in Australia that will suit any budget.
With the microsite and the online and print media that are advertising the campaign, it's hoped that there will be a rise in holidays to Australia from the French market.
Currently, Tourism Australia has also recently united with the leading French food retailer, Carrefour to build a new campaign together.
The two companies had worked together previously in 2014 and now they're looking to build on their previously successful relationship.
According to the Tourism Australia website, campaign activity will include an offer generated by the tour operator Asia Voyages.
It will also see Tourism Australia gain exposure in the Carrefour catalogue, which has a current circulation of 15 million copies, it will also appear on the Carrefour Voyages website.
The join campaign will run for two weeks and is set for launch on Monday 7th March of this year.
