SMATS Migration in collaboration with Jump Resumes

With employment a top priority in any successful move to Australia, SMATS Migration has entered into a major new collaboration with CV specialists Jump Resumes.

Whether heading back home to Australia or moving there for the first time, the job search is usually a top priority in a successful transition.

SMATS Migration has added another crucial component to its all-encompassing relocation service, entering into an exciting collaboration with employment-search documentation specialists Jump Resumes.

In announcing the agreement, SMATS Executive Chairman Steve Douglas said Jump Resumes was the perfect partner to round out a migration service that includes visas, tax, property and financial advice and assistance.

“International relocation is a stressful process so our aim is to be the one-stop service that can make the move as seamless as possible,” Mr Douglas said.

“We know the importance of finding quality employment, whether it marks a career change or continuation in the same profession, and our collaboration with Jump Resumes will ensure our clients’ professional credentials are presented in the best possible way to prospective employers.”

As part of the service, clients will have the option of enlisting the services of Jump Resumes to produce a new CV (resume), cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile.

Jump Resumes are Perth-based but have an international clientele. Owner and Managing Editor Craig Francis has ample experience as an expatriate, having worked as an international journalist in Dubai, London and Hong Kong for 15 years.

Since returning to Australia ten years ago, he has built a small, dedicated and talented team to produce CVs and other supporting job-search resources that have been acknowledged by recruitment companies around the world as being of elite quality.

“We know what it means to find career success in Australia and know how to tailor your CV and application material to the Australian job market,” Mr Francis said.

“Our clients come from dozens of countries, from Japan to the UK, and every conceivable industry, and are often referred to us by recruitment companies wanting the best chance of placing their client.

“Whether its aviation, resources, health, finance or hospitality, we have a proven track record of securing interviews and jobs for our clients.

“There’s a lot of variables that determine job-hunting success, and what we offer is peace of mind that when you apply for a position you know your CV is in the best possible shape to maximise your chances – and it’s one less thing to worry or wonder about,” Mr Francis said.

Steve Douglas said the collaboration and endorsement of Jump Resumes was a vital cog in their service because the business had an intimate understanding of expatriate and migrant issues and needs, and offered a tailored approach based on personal communication that the other services out there simply did not provide.

“If you or a partner need to find a job when returning to Australia, be sure to mention it to one of our agents or get in touch with us online.”
