The survey looks at 211 cities across the world and measures 200 different factors including food, clothing, housing, transport and entertainment costs.
Since last year's survey, it was found that Sydney and Melbourne have both become less expensive, while Canberra and Brisbane have also fallen out of the 50 most expensive cities in the world, which is driving more immigration from skilled expats from other nations like the UK and US.
