Gold Coast industrial complex sells to investors

An industrial complex in the Gold Coast has sold for $1.55 million.

An industrial complex located on the Gold Coast has sold for $1.55 million to property investors from Melbourne.

The sale was negotiated by Pat Cavanagh of Colliers International, stating that the investors had acquired it as a long term investment for their family, and sold by Jim Burge.

This complex is located at 686 Ashmore Road in Moledinar and covers 2,300 square meters. Mr Burge developed the site in 2000 after initially purchasing it for $302,100.

The Gold Coast is one of the areas recognisable for its easy going lifestyle. As a result, it is one of the places where tourism plays a big part in the local economy.

Apartments have also been selling well in the Gold Coast according to statistics from Colliers International. The company found that unit sales on the Gold Coast during the June quarter of this year were 46 per cent up on that of the same time in 2012.
