Footy broadcast changes in Hong Kong

aussieproperty.com is proud to be the prime boradcast Sponsor of AFL Telecasts through the Australia Network in Asia.We were upset to hear that a recent change in Hong Kong may have left some viewers having to pay to view the games, so it was better news when the CEO of Australia Network announced that there was still free alternatives.So make sure you sort your subscription out soon to continue to enjoy the fantastic action of AFL.

To All Australia Network Viewers

As you may or may not be aware, from Tuesday 12th May this year, NOW TV will commence charging its subscribers for the right to view Australia Network.

You should be aware however, that this is a unilateral decision by NOW TV – and against our advice - to charge for content that Australia Network makes available free of charge to all broadcasters.

Australia Network pays substantial licensing fees to provide our viewers with exclusive rugby union, AFL and NRL telecasts across the year, all at no charge to our re-broadcasters. NOW TV has decided that it can profit from charging viewers who wish to access the service.

If you choose not to subscribe there are alternatives to consider including Hong Kong Cable and the Hong Kong Broadband Network.
