15th Annual Australian Budget Review Seminar

This years Federal Budget was all set to deliver the first fiscal surplus since 2008.  That was still likely despite the drought, bushfires and floods.  Coronavirus is now likely to tip the budget back into a deficit through a combination of a slower economy and larger government stimulus spending.

With all that is happening globally, this budget is set to be incredibly important in the Morrison’s Government attempt to prove its economic capability in stormy weather.

Last year, our annual seminar tour was affected by the early delivery of the Budget and election, impacting our travel plans.  In 2020, our tour is also being impacted due to the travel concerns around the Coronavirus.

As such, we have reluctantly decided to only host the event in Singapore this year, with our usual practice of videoing the presentation and then making it available online soon after.  Personally I would still like to do the tour, but the fear of travel interruption is greater than that of the virus for me.  Hopefully things have normalised by October for the Annual Update seminars so we can resume business as usual.
