A statstical look at the Sydney Auction results for the week to the 14th December

Last Week in Review:

The clearance rate in Sydney this week decreased to 42%. Last week the clearance rate was 43% and during this time last year the clearance rate was 47%. 324 properties went to auction this week, last week recorded 407 auctions and this time last year recorded 308.

The week's most expensive auction was on the Gold Coast. A four bedroom house, at 127 Commodore Drive, Surfers Paradise, sold for $7,550,000.

Sydney hosted the second most expensive auction. A four bedroom house at 23 Eastbourne Road, Darling Point, sold for $5,400,000.

Adelaide hosted the cheapest auction this week, where a house at 35 Whitford Road, Elizabeth South, sold at auction for $145,000.
