Various Australian property organisations have combined to spread awareness of the importance of the industry to the country's economic recovery.
The Property on Track coalition involves a number of South Australian professionals and is expected to bolster awareness of the challenges facing practitioners in the current climate.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Property Council of Australia's South Australian executive director Nathan Paine described the sector as a "quiet achiever" in the national economy.
"People interact with the industry every day of their lives but rarely think of how completely their lives intertwine with the built environment," he added.
Property is the biggest contributor to the state's tax coffers and employs one in ten South Australians, concluded Mr Paine.
Master Builders Australia (MBA) chief executive Wilheim Harnisch recently stressed the role low consumer confidence and uncertainty in Europe are playing in the Australian housing sector.
This means further rate cuts are still warranted, according to the MBA boss.
