Emma Ramsey is a Senior Accountant based in the Sydney office, known for her steady approach, love of detail, and genuine interest in helping businesses keep their finances in order. With a few years of hands-on experience under her belt, Emma has grown into a trusted team member who brings both technical skill and a positive attitude to every task.

Emma joined ATS in 2022 and holds a Business Degree from UTS, majoring in Accounting and Finance. She has nearly five years’ experience in her role, which includes tax compliance for individuals, SMEs (small to medium enterprises), and trusts, business services, and providing general tax and accounting advice for both businesses and individuals. She is also involved in the preparation of financial statements.

Her role sees her deeply involved in month-end processes, reconciliations and supporting senior accountants during audits. She enjoys the structure and logic of accounting but also the variety — no two days are ever exactly the same, and that’s what keeps her motivated.

Emma’s colleagues describe her as dependable, hardworking, a good listener, and someone with strong attention to detail. Calm under pressure, she doesn’t shy away from rolling up her sleeves when deadlines are tight. She takes pride in getting the details right the first time and values clear communication with both clients and team members.
