Annie Zhu is a client-focused and detail-oriented Tax Manager with over 15 years of experience in taxation and accounting, based in our Sydney office. With a strong foundation built over eight years as a Senior Tax Accountant and three years in a managerial role, she brings a deep understanding of tax compliance, strategic planning, and client advisory services.

In her current role, Annie is responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. She oversees and reviews the work of her team, manages workflow to optimise productivity, and provides strategic tax planning support.

Annie is also instrumental in client engagement, meeting with individuals and businesses across Sydney and Brisbane to understand their financial objectives and offer tailored tax solutions.

Recognised for her analytical expertise and commitment to excellence, Annie takes a proactive approach to client service. She is dedicated to guiding clients through complex tax matters, ensuring they receive the highest level of professional support.

With a keen ability to listen, assess, and provide strategic direction, she helps clients improve their financial position while seamlessly connecting them with the appropriate departments within the SMATS Group of companies.
