Randwick 'boasts a diverse housing mix'

A diverse mix of different Australian property can be found in the Randwick area of Sydney, New South Wales, McGrath Estate Agents has claimed.

Randwick in Sydney, New South Wales, contains a diverse mix of different types of Australian property.

This is according to McGrath Estate Agents, which has announced it is opening an office in the area.

"The eastern beach suburbs contain some of the most valuable real estate in Sydney mixed with a high number of 60s and 70s built apartments," a statement from the company reads.

It goes on to say that properties in the area are very desirable as they are in close proximity to the beach and city.

Some of the most notable sales made by the real estate firm include $7.55 million (£4.67 million) for 40 Gardyne Street in Bronte and $4.3 million for 54 Dutruc Street in Randwick.

Last week, Tim Lawless, director of property research at RP Data, revealed that the area of Vaucluse in Sydney is the second most expensive suburb in the whole of Australia.
