New South Wales properties recognised for quality

Developments in New South Wales have been chosen as finalists in the Property Council of Australia's Innovation and Excellence Awards.

The Property Council of Australia has recognised the quality of properties in New South Wales for its Innovation and Excellence Awards.

The council has named 43 development projects as finalists in its upcoming awards, some of which have been named in residential development categories.

New South Wales has had more developments named as finalists for the awards than any other state.

Property and construction markets in New South Wales have been predicted to experience growth in 2013 according to statistics from the Property Council of Australia and ANZ Property Industry Confidence Survey.

It surveyed over 3,000 professionals working in property and construction, 847 of which work in New South Wales, and found that business confidence had risen from 107 to 112 for the first quarter of 2013.

The amount of construction work for residential properties in the state is expected to rise this year according to 50 per cent of respondents.
