Interest Rates staying steady

IN line with our expectations, Australian interest rates have remained unchanged once again.
The Reserve Bank Bank of Australia's Board have decided to leave interest rates unchanged at their meeting of the 5th June.

This shows the stable environment being experienced in Australia, with all economic indicators at favourable levels.

The Australian currency has remained high, largely due to the current high oil price and instability in the US political arena, and this would also be an influencing factor in keeping rates unchanged.

With good gorwth results coming through on the East Coast property markets, the interest rate stability is bound to be a positive influence and keep momentum in these areas.
