A new partnership has been made between Qantas and Sheridan, which will see the national carrier offer a luxury sleep experience designed by Sheridan exclusively for Qantas First Suites across its fleet of A380s.
Sheridan has been operating as a premium quality home and lifestyle brand for almost 50 years and will offer its entire bedding ensemble to Qantas customers travelling in First.
A380 flights from Sydney and Melbourne to London, Dubai, Los Angeles and Dallas Fort-Worth will be provided with the new luxury sleep experience.
A bespoke range of products will be crafted using high quality luxury fabrics and contemporary designs - and Qantas and Sheridan will work together on this offering.
Sheridan's products will be introduced on board Qantas A380 flights in the First cabin from mid-2017.
Phil Capps head of consumer product and service development for Qantas, said it is very important to his company that international travellers are able to have a comfortable night's sleep.
"We are pleased to be working with such a high quality Australian brand like Sheridan to provide our customers in First with luxurious bedding and help us redefine the sleeping experience in our most premium cabin," he commented.
Mr Capps added that he is looking forward to working with Sheridan and seeing what the teams are able to come up with during the collaboration.
Paul Gould, general manager of the Sheridan Group, also said he is happy to be working with the national carrier.

He said the bedding ensemble is designed to elevate comfort and is made using natural fibres in luxury fabrications.
