Vanish Patel, an experienced property investor, has recognised the benefits that these can provide but said that over the last ten years only about 20 per cent of deals will come from these professionals.
He said: "We all know that it is all about connecting with the seller and it's that which is the important aspect. The truth is that not all sellers are going to think that the way to solve their property problems is by going to an estate agent."
Mr Patel said that using an estate agent is one – useful – strategy but that there are multiple ways of contacting sellers and all of these should be explored.
Early this month, RenovateandProfit.com's Ana Stankovic told API Magazine that those looking to invest in property in Australia should look to renovate small units.
