Developer Mirvac has said that it will fix some of the flood-damaged Australian property in Brisbane.
Eight ground floor units of the multi-million-dollar Tennyson Reach complex were flooded recently, the Australian newspaper reports.
These units, which are on the site of the old Tennyson power station, cost their owners around $2 million (£1.26 million) each.
Back in 1974, the power station was flooded, so some are questioning whether the apartments should have been built on the site in the first place.
The newspaper reports Mirvac's head of development, Matthew Wallace, as saying that the company is working with the affected residents and that it had decided to repair the damage caused to the apartments.
Earlier this month, employment minister Chris Evans said that there will be "huge immediate impacts on employment" as a result of the floods.
He said that a lot of construction work is required in Queensland and that this rebuilding process will generate jobs.
