Eynas Brodie, editor of Australian Property Investor, suggested that the near-constant sunshine and lack of a language barrier could spur Brits to relocate to the stunning country.
Her comments were made after analysis from Colliers International Research highlighted that UK natives had been the most active buyers of residential property in Queensland for four years running.
Ms Brodie suggested that the country's education system, land availability and numerous business opportunities could also make Australia an attractive proposition for overseas investors.
She went on to note that the country's political safety and borrowing regulations, where foreigners are able to loan up to 80 per cent of their mortgages, could be a selling point for UK residents.
"It's a relatively easy transition to make in terms of lifestyle, given that there is no language barrier and the cultures are in many ways similar," Ms Brodie remarked.
