Advice that won't cost the Earth

The Australian Conservation Foundation, has released a series of GreenHome Guides to assist you understand how to make your home more environmentally friendly and efficient.Advise that should be taken by all of us as we try and restore balance to the planet.

As part of its GreenHome program, the Australian Conservation Foundation has released guides containing simple tips for reducing water use, better managing energy and waste in the home and creating organic food-producing gardens.

The GreenHome Guides also help householders shop smarter and greener and avoid using harmful chemicals in the home. They have been written with advice specific to each state and contain contact details for appropriate energy, water, transport and recycling bodies.

The guides not only contain advice on what you can do in and around your home to reduce your ecological footprint, but also clear, statistically supported information about the most important environmental problems facing your state.
